Review of the Season

by BBC Radio Berkshire » 08 May 2008 15:44

Just a reminder that if you're not on your way to Derby this Sunday then tune in at Midday for the 'BBC Radio Berkshire' RFC Review of the Season.

Whilst we appreciate it perhaps hasn't been the most successful campaign in recent years, it's certainly been eventful and this Sunday, before our build up at Derby, you can hear every goal, major incident, all the controversy and post-match interviews as well as a couple of lighter moments from the last nine months.

Its an hour long, from 12 -1, this Sunday and kicks off our marathon coverage of Survival Sunday! Don't Miss It.

Cheers

PS - For those of you who are travelling to Derby, you can also catch our Review of the Season next Friday 16th May from 6 - 7.

Does Tim know where the players are staying on Saturday night - I think they might be at our hotel and I don't want them keeping awake the night before a big game with their shenanigans.

Let us know how far you get, but I'm guessing Oxfordshire is the limit.

Going up the A34 you've lost it by the time you get to Oxford.

The vagaries of radio signals....

Salisbury clear as a bell
Portsmouth actually fairly reasonable
Bagshot/Camberley clear for a split second here and there but generally nothing but Southern Counties
Watford slightly better than Bagshot/Camberley but still interference from Southern Counties

I swear the furthest away from Berks I've ever caught their coverage was around about Stafford on the M6. It wasn't exactly clear but managed to get about 30 seconds of verbiage from Tim/Mick/Joel about 5/6 years ago - not managed it since though!

It would be great, when we've all converted to DAB, if the BBC local radio stations were available nationwide like you can get regional BBC telly on cable etc.

Can get it if i listen in the car on Hayling Island, although my car has to face away from the sea! so i can't get a decent scenery lookout!

Brilliant tonight Beeb, Thank You

As much as the "remember the moment" thing from Tim Dellor two years ago.............I will remember his (truely mental) excitement when Harps scored at Derby.

(coupled..or Coppelled with the events of Tuesday evening....a truely defining moment in our season) Never has a relegation been so much fun

URZZZZZZ

It can normally be heard past junction 10 (A3) of the M25 too!
