Wierdest thing is BBCRB called me at about 6:15 this evening to ask me if I wanted to go on the program this evening!

We've decided to slightly alter the format this season and so far I think it's been a big success.

Rather than shape each programme round just one player each week, we want to get players on for shorter, more spontaneous bursts and make the programme more about your views/reaction. That is not to say the players won't be involved. On the contrary, if you listened over the summer, you will know that Glen Little and Nicky Shorey both spoke to us on the day they left Reading to explain their decisions.

Since the season started, we've had Michael Duberry, Jem Karacan and Adam Federici on.

But as well as supporters who call in, we also want to feature some of those fans who have spoken to us in the past and who have been good talkers. That is why we called you Weybridge.

Keep your feedback coming.

Thanks for the feedback. I like the mix and it sounds good but wouldn't want studio guests to disappear totally. For example, if you could get higher profile names like SC and/or KD in on a couple of Friday's (say, before an international break so there's no disruption to team planning) during the season to answer questions from callers/e-mail/HNA? etc. then I'm sure it'd promote a great deal of interest.

I made that joke at an interview for tv once. They obviously agreed with me.

Why can't I 'Listen Again' to this now? I used to be able to, but it seems to have disappeared from the listing so I can't select it. I'd listen at 6pm on Fridays, but although I can listen to the first twenty minutes while I'm driving my son to JuJitsu, I miss the rest waiting for him in the hall.

I'm investigating the Listen Again issue, thanks for spotting it!...the whole Listen Again enterprise is run by a BBC team in Birmingham so I will contact them ASAP.

Cheery...we miss your anagrams too. I risnelyec mean that.

Just to clarify...studio guests will still be a part of the show but it is more likely that we will feature a number of players/fans each week, rather than just one.

Excellent. Any chance of getting SC into the studio in (preferably) November before that months international weekend?

You can ring me and I'll come in when SC is in. I love him. But I'm not a weird mentalist stalker. Well, I'm not a stalker anyway. Ollie had my number - so I'm sure Tim or someone has it.

God help us. Both you and Schards post enough negative views on here as it is. Certainly would prefer not to hear you on the radio as well.

Pity you didn't hear me when I was in the studio at the beginning of last season then.

I have changed jobs, so my phone number has changed. I would love to be on again someday if you will have me. If you want a plastic Yanks view from Los Angeles give me a shout.

Apart from Weybridge who was invited onto the show, does this thread smack of DESPERATION to anyone?

People are invited for a reason.
