Spurs away - FA Cup

by Coppelled Streets » 03 Dec 2007 20:11

Anyone actually silly enough to waste their money and a few hours of their lives on this game?

A reserve side almost certainly will be put out, a hammering very much on the cards with Ramos keen to bring the glory years back to, er, Tottenham.

Anyone?

Don't Spurs have to give us 1/4 of their ground due to FA Cup rules? If so, it's going to look bloody empty!!!

And no, I won't be "wasting" my money on it.

P.S. 'Ave it, AF1 8)

Yes, I'll be there. I expect some of us will go to the Prem match and others like myself will go to the Cup game. I am looking forward to seeing a few of our squad players playing against top class opposition and finding out if they are good enough. I would very much like to see Hahnemann, Murty, Gunnarsson and Harper changed for Federici, Rosenior, Cisse and Fae in any case so it will be very interesting to see how they get on.

10% of ground capacity in the FA Cup - but we have the option not to take it all.

And don't forget ticket prices are decided jointly by both teams.

But with a minimum set by the FA.

And we get a fair chunk of the receipts....

I thought it was 10% capacity or 3000 for league and 15% for cup ? It is entirely possible I am wrong though !!

Yeah, sorry, you're right - it is 15% of the ground if we want it.

And we get 40% of the receipts (after costs) - So do Spurs and 20% goes to the FA Cup fund.

Minimum adult ticket price is £15.

Not according to the FA: Rule 22 says 45% - 45% - 10%.

Ticket prices will dictate how many we sell, but I suspect I'll go along.

I shall be going, if the price is right. Local trip, few beers in London. Meet up with a couple of mates from Brighton who are Spurs fans who are going to this one.

Possibly a good game and no real worry about the result.

As above.

Cheaper tickets.

London piss up

Possibility of watching a game without the pain of watching Gunnarsson blundering around.

I'm in for this one if £25 or less. No pressure or misery on us to get a result, get a chance to see Henry and Pearce probably play against decent opposition, piss up in St Pancras and beyond, less transport hassles than the league game.

I imagine if we take the 3000 tickets then we will be in the end behind the goal, rather than the top and bottom corner of that stand?

Err, did you not go to any away games last season?

Well Spurs have released their pricing, looks like we will be in the standard away section in the South West corner and they will be £20 each and £10 concessions. Top job.
