RoyalBlueCoppelled Streets Not happening. Not this summer nor the next one, in fact not while JM is at the helm.
At least that's the current gossip. I don't know if Dirk and Co can back that up but it's from a reasonable source.
It's all about making the club more attractive to a prospective buyer, and they're all currently shunning RFC because of the stupid price over its head that JM wants.
It will start to look even more stupid as we move closer to the relegation zone.
Like it or not, he is going to have to make some significant commitment both in terms of capital and day to day expenditure if he is to preserve the value of his investment.

Chief Executive Nigel Howe explained, "Although we initially hoped that building work would start this summer, a number of factors have to be addressed before work can begin and we want to make sure the project is carried out properly and not rushed.
"We have said all along that no final decisions had been made on the finer detail of the design, and we will now take our time to make sure that the right decisions are made.
"If we started now, the necessary enabling works would not be completed in time for the start of the season, which means there would be disruption to existing seats and that is something we have always been very keen to avoid.
"As always, we will ensure that our supporters are kept fully informed at every stage of the process."
6 months on and nothing further from Mr Howe and no sign of detailed plans or contracts being awarded. Whether or not they are intending to proceed surely they should be saying something to supporters particularly given the Chairmans comments indicating that he does not see this as something for him to take forward.

Well it's fairly obvious that with our Premier League status in question, they are having second thoughts.

RG30 By having planning permission, would it impact on the value of any future potential sale of the club from JM?

I certainly can't hurt it.

The 17 Bus but we would not have had a 38,000 seater stadium next season.
Not like the BBC to leak an interview.

Royal Lady According to Mr Mad in his interview it will cost £35 million and they won't spend that amount of money if there's no guarantees it will be filled or that they'll make they're money back at some point.
Surely you can never "guarantee" that it will be filled? Anyway, to my mind, that's more or less saying they aren't going to go ahead with it in the near future.

Did anyone really ever think he would?
Put your house up for sale with planning permission already granted for an extension and watch the market price go up!
On the other hand, insist that the buyer keeps your name plastered all over it and watch demand drain away!
