Relegation Merchandise

by Forbury Lion » 06 May 2008 16:44

Whilst in the megastore at lunchtime I noticed a delivery of relegation related merchandise including including a special edition "Championship 08/09" T shirts and "Down but not out" flags.

The guy in the megastore also mentioned the new away kit would be brown, apparantley it goes well with jeans.

No, they're the sponsors... as part of the deal they will be erecting a cell mask on the top of the East Stand to cover Whitley.

Really? :?

About time the club revealed the new kits. A lot of clubs wear them on their final league game so they can advertise them. Not us!

How can they release the new kits when they still haven't got a new sponsor? No company is going to sign on the dotted line, until they know what league we're in next season. It's not rocket science.

The club have a contract with Kyocera until the end of the season, If they are not the kit sponsors next season then how are they going to show the new kit?

If the new shirts feature the same sponsors and manufacturers then it would be possible if there was a benefit to it.

Readers of USA's weekly column in the Daily Mail will know that he and other players took part in a photoshoot of the new kit last week.

Reading never ever do that that's just too sensible, you know what it will be, they'll reveal them in late June on the website advising that the away shirt will be available from early August but that the home shirt won't be out until November! A the very best it could be the home shirt in August and away shirst in November - but then if its brown no-one will care anyway.
