yeah one of my friends only goes to 5/10 games a season due to work commitments but still has his ST. He wants to sit next to his mates when he does attend which isn't guaranteed if he bought individual tickets . I actually think this sort of thing happens a lot more common than people think.

tidus_mi2 Tempted by the payment plan, less of a shock to the system to pay it out quarterly interest free rather than in one lump sum, easier to budget for too.

No brainer, surely? Especially interest free.

Absolutely. I shall be taking full advantage.

+1. A £600+ lump one off payment is a pain.

katweslowski Can someone explain how movers week works? Say I renewed my ST in row A but actually want to sit higher up where there's no seats. How does it work during movers week, do more become available as others are moving around?

I need to move as the guy in front of me is the world's most obnoxious and hateful oxf*rd idiot on the planet.

I thought Ian stopped going to games, etc...

If a seat is not reserved, then a supporter can move at any time by contacting our sales team. Any seats that are not renewed by the renewal deadline may become available to move into. More information will be released about a ‘movers period’ closer to the renewal deadline but this period will commence from Tuesday 24th June.

The way I've done it before is that you renew your ST, as is, then when movers week comes around you phone up the ticket office and move it to a different free seat.

I'm a delight to sit near.

Crusader Royal Those prices remain stupidly good value. No wonder we make a loss ! The match equivalent is less than some tier 5 teams charge.
Although I probably would only go to one or two games I’m tempted to get one as a gesture of support, but that would mean I was paying £170 a game and I’m not that supportive !

Does anyone do that? Pay for a ST though their circumstances mean they could only actually get to 2/3/4 games? Absolute credit to them if they do

Seriously considering it

I know at least one overseas Royal who has a ST for the odd game they can make plus first dibs on big games.

I've thought about doing this as well. Suspect it's too much of a low-level status symbol though.

I think you are right. I have kept one, only occasionally used, for a few years now. It's there for when my son or daughter can make it to games. It's now getting used more as our grandson is starting to come with our son. In fact I have just bought a U13 season ticket for our grandson in his own right.

Kept one such season ticket on last season because I knew that the club needed every penny to survive. Paid for it on a credit card, so if Dai had pulled the plug I would've had some protection.

Renewed mine. I always go the wrong way on the ticket site, don't click on "Season Tickets" after you login, click on your name to bring up your account and click on Season Tickets there.

Am I doing this right?

I have two season tickets, but I want to move to two empty seats.
I click on "buy season tickets" and can select these two seats and can pay (when ready). So I just ignore my old ones and they'll eventually just expire, and then become available?

I just didn't know if this was wrong and if I need to just renew my current ones and then move later during the official period

Edit: the purchase is failing - using my America Express reward card. Very little info about this on the site but I did find that they accept this for RoyalsTV and fanstore purchases.

Well, against my better judgement, I've bought a season ticket.

You're getting the renewal price - so you have to renew the ticket. Then wait till movers week to change your seat. I don't think you can renew to a new seat immediately.

I've ended up "renewing" but selecting two other empty seats. I got the renweal price. I've emailed the club to ensure this is OK which I assume it is but just in case.

RG30 Club doesn't accept Amex either.

Thanks - that is annoying, moreso as it isn't clear. Their FAQs don't show it, the declined payment didn't say why, when I looked online, it said RoyalsTV and the FanStore accept. I know it's probably obvious but I wanted to use my reward card so was reluctant to just use my other - which I ended up doing anyway!
