Stranded Vale have just announced that, as a thank you for the support Reading fans gave to help fund the John Rudge statue, all tickets for the match there in February will cost just a tenner, with all kids going for free,
Nice touch.

Whore Jackie What a superb gesture. Port Vale's a bit of an underrated away day. Nice ground and the Bulls Head is a cracking Titanic pub.

It was great in there last year.
I'm not sure Port Vale have got this right, we contributed to their statue as the match was abandoned and their fans made the expensive trip for nothing (and then lost the reschuled match). They owe us nothing.
i did chip in a tenner, but their away support would have each spent a whole lot more than that.
