NR_Royal Am I likely to be killed sitting in the home end? :?:

If you keep quiet then you'll be fine, if you celebrate us scoring you might get a slap and/or kicked out depending who you're sat near.

brendywendy tickets on sale on the day for last years HOME QF Vs villa

So how many went then? 2,800? 3,800? or more like 20,000?

I know it's a stupid comparison, but it's the one you made.

when assessing how many tickets we would sell for an Away QF Vs premiere league opposition.
id guess its probably sensible to compare to the home QF we played against prem opposittion the previous year, yes.

Ok brendy, so we sold 20,000 against Villa. How does that help you decide how many tickets we need for Man City? We take 20,000 again? The fact that there were tickets on the day is neither here nor there, it doesn't help you anticipate demand because the enthusiasm of the 20,001 person onwards is pretty irrelevant when we've only got a max of 7000 tickets to take up anyway.

Royal Lady LOL @ personal vendetta. I'm complaining about this and I complained about ST renewals. If the club didn't treat us like mugs, they would be no need for anyone to criticise them.

lol at you you big gay for taking it personally. it was meant as a joke.
though you do complain about everything.

giving you the opportunity to take next years ST aat this years price is taking you for a mug?
rewarding you for your long term support of this club by giving you a FA cup QF ticket is taking you for a mug?

LOL.

Royal Lady You would if you were sat there and we scored!

why?

i cheered in the home end at man united. no one said anything, in fact they chatteed to us throughout the game.
its not like we have any real rivalry with them, we are a minnow, theres no ill feeling.
and if we end up winning, the man city fans will be too annoyed at their own club to spend any time telling us to shut up and sit down.

does anyone know what points banding Stevenage tickets went down to before they were sold out?

before I get abuse, it probably has no bearing, I'm just interested.

Schards#2 If anyone from the club reads this - if we get to the semi final, we will be able to sell 30,000 tickets even though our home attendances are way below this figure and we've only sold 170 for Ipswich away.

Just trust me on this.

agreed with this - wembley, fa semi, weekend...

You'd still find something.........

Prior to ST renewal debacle, what have I moaned about? And it's my prerogative to complain if I'm not happy with something. Rather than kow-towing to the powers that be.

Has anyone emailed or contacted Man City about away fans buying home tickets (as i imagine a large number now will) being seggregated or concentrated into 1 area? I was thinking about doing it, worth a try afterall.

I wouldn't draw conclusions from the Man Utd fans deciding to humour a dangerous smackhead.

southbank1871 My theory is that RFC are supplying Brendy with all the crack he wants to be an apologist for the club.

i myself this very week wrote a sternly worded post on this very forum saying that the noodles on sale at half time have reduced significantly in quality.

I think brendy is just slightly playing devils advocate with a few good points. I have to agree that this is in now way the worst thing that happens to fans and will have no baring at all on my season ticket renewal - if you can cope without your ST then you could argue you don't deserve a Man City ticket!

However Brendy is on the wrong side of the argument here. The club have been forced into a situation and have dealt with it very badly. A lot of small clubs get abused by this system - google southampton brentford fa cup ticket allocation.

Everyone complained on here before the sale at the 2,800 and they went in 37 minutes of being available.

We would have sold 5,000 no sweat, without the coaches. With coaches probably could have sold up to 16,000 due to the fact its no different to a home game if the travels free!

muddyfeet another 1000 tickets @ £25 is £25,000

See we managed to stump up the £40k fine for Cardiff alright then

maybe if we hadnt had to, we could have afforded to take a hit on these tickets

have to be a bit careful with that Niko, may not want to draw to much attention to it. Just get a ticket is my opinion, it will be a great day wherevr we sit!

Yeah I really wouldn't. I registered my mates flat in Scotland with MCFC - I have heard of ticket slaes to certain postcodes getting looked into.

If you started emailing Man city then you make them unable to turn a blind eye to the masses of new city fans in berkshire who just registered.

im saying that not selling out in last years home QF Vs prem opposition has a definite bearing on our decision not to take the full allocation at this away FA cup QF.

if you dont think its relevant at all, fair play.carry on.

Would anyone with tickets in the home end like my free coach travel?

I'm taking the train so can phone up TO to get the 2 x free vouchers if anyone needs 2?

does it in hidsight, and even many on heres foresight, look like a mistake? yes
will they make the same mistake next time? i doubt it.
will it stop me going to the game? no.
