Just eyeballing what's left available and there's 20 in one block and maybe 60 in another. Other areas all sold out.

Looks like only a third of the last block is actually available.

I think that's the full stand. Great to see people have responded well to the £10 tickets.

Note, this is not a cue for the players to gift wrap a few presents :?

Vale’s FA cup game tomorrow postponed because of their dreadful pitch- could our match the following Saturday be in jeopardy. ??

An afternoon on the piss in the potteries without the football getting in the way?

Fingers crossed!

IN x3

According to ticket office, "around 1700 sold I think but I'm not sure"

I thought that they could just see a figure for total number of tickets sold on their computer, unless he just didn't look. It wasn't me that phoned up to book them or I'd have asked that too. Gunna be a good turn out anyway, looking forward to it. 8)

How in doubt is this game? Hadn't clocked it myself, but apparently the pitch is unplayable with more wet weather on the way.

Their FA Cup game was already postponed on Saturday, more rain during the week expected, including Fri+Sat, gut feeling is it gets postponed.

Met office weather warning in place in west mids for rain and snow later in week - no way this game is being played.

I asked AI and it thinks the weather could play a part in the game being postponed. :(

I’ve also checked over the Port Vale website and they’re talking about Vale hiring covers for the pitch (plus chucking tennis balls on the pitch when Reading take the lead).

There’s a snow warning for Stoke and generally there’s 95% chance of precipitation every day up to and including Saturday.

Personally reckon there’s more chance of Dai being sainted then there is of this game going ahead but strange things have been known to happen in football.

No game means a 10 or 11 day gap between playing and, based on what’s gone before with extended gaps, would imagine postponement is the last thing we’d all want.

I'm expecting this to be called off. Just hope they do it before anyone sets off for Burslem.
