you cant afford the season ticket but can afford to go to more away games?
thats got to be 100 pound per trip?
why arent you nobbers (i use that in both its senses)renewing?
surely if you could afford it last year you can afford it this?
or have you just gone off supporting reading?
what happens if we do well sell out every game and you cant get into th eground?
what happens if the waiting list for season tickets outstrips the ground expansion?
too risky for me
id rather pay the 545 and even if i miss a few ill still be on the list for next year too

West Stand Man Anyone who doesn't renew is either;
- genuinely hard up and cannot afford the cost.
- naive, if they think that they'll get to see many games next season. It can be very difficult to buy them by the game.
- stupid enough to believe that there will be plenty of spare tickets.
- not really a fan anyway, so they don't care if they don't get to see the games.
- moving on to some where that is too far away to make it worthwhile assuming that they will be able to travel regularly.

Surely the difficulty of getting tickets next year will rely on how many points those giving up have? If they've be going very regularly over the last few seasons then as long as they keep abreast of when the tickets are coming on sale they'll be fine.

So the boy who labels fans plastic, and criticises Reading fans is not going to be loyal next season?
by Maguire » 29 May 2007 22:10
Row V Ah, so the plastics have now seen Manure/Cheatski/Assnal/etc live for the first time and don't know what all the fuss is about.
I'd love a ST, just can't afford the 19 transatlantic airfares.

Maguire Ah, so the plastics have now seen Manure/Cheatski/ just don't enjoy the home games very much. Lifeless stadium, souless experience etc etc. .
