Barry the bird boggler
Permentrude According to brum online ticketing there are aprox 4300 unavailable seats in the away end, blocks GML1-GML5. Home fans in GML6&7 with tickets already being sold in those blocks.

So it looks like we'll get a minimum of 4000 then (allowing for the fact that plod/stewards will put a "safety" gap between the two sections)

With that number available I would expect a good 1000 or so to make general sale.

Just so very IN for this one.

I really hope so. Don't want to miss this one for the world. If the trains are a nightmare I'm prepared to cough up for a hotel even!

Yeah, if you add up the blocks in the away end which are shown as unavailable, it's 4,300. Don't know whether the bit to separate the fans will come out of that though - it looks like it might be a block on the home side.

I just want that game to be a dead fixture because we are already up. I am not sure that my nerves would hold up if we needed to win to go up.

I could put up with us needing a win to go up as Champions though.

Oh the joys of being a football fan.

As far as travel is concerned, I checked the Virgin website (on my phone through a browser) and the only routes it was giving me were though London. (Euston, Paddington, Clapham Junction, Hassle Station)... So three or four hours!

But I checked the Virgin trains Ap and got the Reading - Birmingham New Street route.

This journey was £14 each way...

Not sure I could sit in the home end and watch the inflatable fun/promotion party in silence

Anyone got decent inflatables already lined up?

I'm waiting on being able to get a ticket. And i'm giving my lungs a break this year if I do go, so won't be taking anything big. I nearly killed myself blowing up that fricking tiki pole. Took me about 40 mins.

You need to man up. Those tiki poles were child's play.

Tokyo Sex Whale If I get tix I think im going to take a giant penis to be original might take a little electric pump too, a handheld one and just pass it round.

Penis will probably be confiscated fairly sharpish, whereas the majority of the rest will probably be returned to the crowd by the steward (at least early on) if it leaves the crowd.

Thank you Badg, it was the only thing that saved my life. Thanks also to the random teenage lass who had a blow as well. Oh, and everyone else who helped.

http://www.readingfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10306~2725037,00.html

The club have taken the absolute maximum allocation of 4,125 tickets for our final game of the npower Championship season, away to Birmingham City at 12:30pm on Saturday 28th April.

Our supporters always take inflatables to the last away game of the campaign, and a superb atmosphere is in store in the Midlands when we face Chris Hughton's men. A gallery of last season's inflatables day is here.

Seating is reserved and with high demand our fans must sit in their allocated seat. Prices are as below.

Adult: £27, Over 65's: £16, Students (19-22 with NUS): £16, 13-18s £11, Under 13s £7

Tickets are one per Member Card with the following criteria:
• From 9am on Tue 10th April, 2200+ Royalty Points.
• From 9am on Wed 11th April, 2000+ Royalty Points.
• From 9am on Thu 12th April, 1800+ Royalty Points.
• From 9am on Fri 13th April, 1000+ Royalty Points.
• From 9am on Sat 14th April, 500+ Royalty Points.
• From 9am on Mon 16th March, on sale to all Member Card holders.

How to book: When you meet the criteria above, you can book via our ticket office number 0844 249 1871, the online booking facility http://www.readingfcdirect.co.uk, or you can of course visit the Madejski Stadium ticket office in person .

Concessions: It is suggested that all concession ticket holders bring with them proof of their qualification for a concession ticket on the day of the game - anyone believed not to be a concession will be sent to the St Andrew's Ticket Office to upgrade their ticket.
