Having Setanta as a competitor to Sky is shit. It means they can only show 1 game (well, Sky are showing 2, but 1 is the race for the title). In previous years they would have on Sky Sports 1, 1 of the title games, with the other on 'red button', and on Sky Sports 2 they'd have 1 of the relegation games, with another on 'red button'. Ah well, never mind. I'm resigned to our fate anyway, fully expecting Fulham to beat Portsmouth with us only getting an 8-0 win and thus failing by 1 goal...

Stuka No chance of watching it at the Mad House then:

Dear Richard,

Thank you for your email.

Further to your enquiry, unfortunately we do not have the rights to broadcast the game.

Kind Regards

Not looking good for the pubs with the foreign satalite channels either.

Looks like we'll have to hope for an online stream from our friends in the far east.

Setanta showing Portsmouth v Fulham, so that settles that one then. Understandable though to be fair, our game against Derby is probably the least attractive Premiership game available

Would they have the rights to show the Goals as they happen from our game on either Sky or Setanta? OR are they strictly limited to only show what they have chosen?

If I remember correctly last season, they showed the goals in picture from the Sheff U v Wigan game while the Man U v West Ham game was on. Let's hope so

The problem is that last season Sky had the sole rights to the Premier League games, while this year it's split between them and Satana. Hoping that they will show something but not holding out for anything... Much like the final outcome...

If anybody does hear any whispers of pubs showing the game through unorthodox means a PM would be much appreciated.

Can't beat going to the game.
Could be our last at this level for a while.

Could also be exactly the same as our first game next season...

Doesn't look hopeful as the Greek and Albanian channels are showing other games.

Setanta are showing the game, but only in Ireland :x

That website shows the game being on Supersport 5, which means it will be on in Reading.

Depends which version they have, I get Setanta Ireland but it blacks out when they show sport that a UK company has rights to ie Prem Footy.

Although I do know of one place that definitely has the full SI channel.
