Forbury Lion £545 was what it cost me to renew in the West Lower last season, That's the maximum I am prepared to pay next season regardless of what division we're in.

In all reality should we stay up the club could easily be looking to get £650 for a ST in the Lower West, IMHO, nearer £750 in the Upper West, £600 in the East and hold prices to £565 in the North.

Also sign contracts for the extension next summer, all the way not just the East, and spend money on 4/5 good players, preferably some that can speak fecking English and are ready for the Premier League.

They could try, but after this season I suspect their ability to fool all of the fans all of the time has substantially deteriorated!

From what I have heard if we are relegated there will be a change of manager and many / most players will be shifted to cut the wage bill. The ones we cannot sell will be the ones noone else wants - so we could well be watching a struggling side even in the CCC.

Perhaps the Club should have tried to sucker us before the turmoil? I am not going to be in a rush to renew unless there is a substantial price cut on relegation. And if we stay up I am not sure I believe we will massively strengthen the squad as the wage structure will not attract established Prem players.

There is nothing much (other than success) that is stopping us going back to pay-on-the-day since the introduction of the cashless concourse.

 Not a chance. They'll lose too many ST holders. It will be commercial suicide.
Stay up, and they'll keep prices the same as this year. Go down, I reckon we're looking at, on average, a £100 reduction.

SpaghettiHoop What's a fair price for twenty three games? I reckon £360.

It will be at least £500.

I actually don't believe prices will even decrease at all.

Well if you're right I hope Ego Madejski is left with a clear view of his name written across the seats on match days. It's the least he deserves!

Madejski on Radio Berkshire this morning saying ticket prices will decrease, but it was too ealry to say by how much.

Still reckon ST prres will stay the same and be justified by more games in the Championship

£545 for 19 premier league games is approx £28.50 per game

£545 for 23 championship games is approx £23.50 per game

This would suggest the season ticket will remain around the current renewal price

You have to remember that ST stay roughly in line with the going rate for a match ticket. Otherwise there is less of an incentive to buy one.

Previous years tended to work out that you got 3 or 4 games 'free' with a ST.

Silver matches this season were £28 a game. So next years match price will be about £22-£23 i would guess.

19 x 22 = £418.

So anything much above £420 is unlikely for me. I reckon about £400 personally. All about supply & demand and the demand just wont justify much more than that.

We might also see a higher reduction for renewals in an attempt to keep more ST holders on board

The point is, what's happened to all the Premiership money? We KNOW it hasn't gone on transfer fees. And while we don't know the hard facts about the wage structure, we do know enough to say that it hasn't gone on hugely inflated wages for the players.

On that basis, it's simply unfair to expect supporters to pay any more than when we were last in the Championship, plus a modest increase to cover inflation since then.

Unless JM and his fellow directors can make a convincing case - and that would have to include complete transparency about income and expenditure over the last couple of years - no other approach to ticket pricing can be justified!

according to the figures we made 6 million profit last year after making losses every year previous to that for ten seasons
alot of that profit will have gone on improvements, new players who mainly flopped and increased wages for people who then flopped.

its hard to see us being profitable at all in the championship without a full ground, theyll have to judge what price will get the most through the door without giving them away

get rid of hunt and shorey as high earners for 10million if we are lucky, and buy 6 new players with that cash

the probable 15-20 million profit we make on this year will probably be kept by madejski to pay his money back for all the years he bailed us out and built our ground
instead of using it to get us back up,

and its his money he can do what he likes with it
wish it was otherwise, but it aint

Derby £435

Wolves £432

Sheff Utd £409

all equivalent prices to seating in the East Stand

I'd pay £500 if they promised to buy a new left and right winger

A new DECENT left and right winger please, not just anyone from the conference.

For what it's worth, my idea would be to reduce current ST prices to between £400 and £450 (and I would have different prices for different areas) and then say that if you buy a FULL season ticket (joining in when at christmas if we're coasting it won't count) you will be guaranteed the same price for the following season should we go straight back up. Offering something like that I think is the only way they are going to be able to keep ST sales up.

Are Season tickets hard to get hold of? When is it best to get one? And where is it best to sit?

I'll pay £500 plus if they promise I don't have to watch Derby, Wolves or Sheff Utd every other week
