I give you permission to knock one out Geekins. I'm sure RL won't mind, she's such a reasonable and unflappable person.

Reading FC finances
By Jonny Fordham
September 24, 2009

Reading insist they are still going to release a statement about the financial situation at the club.

Officials at Madejski Stadium promised fans’ information on the club accounts after chants of “Where’s the money gone” at the end of the Sheffield United defeat on August 22.

However, there is still no exact date on the information being released.

They should never have mentioned it or caved to pressure to say anything as they are damned if they do and damned if they don't with this one.

Good to see you are waiting to see what it says before making any kind of judgement.

You really can;t blame the club for not releasing info they are under no obligation to make public, when they know full well there are so many people who only want it in order to further grind their personal axes.

Totally with Stranded on this, was a mistake to offer anything and they would have been better letting people read the accounts....

Do you think the club will ever offer you a job Sun Tzu? I'd have given up @rselicking them long before now. Still, never give up on your dream!

Agree with Sun and Stranded. The club's probably waiting until the end of September for final figures etc etc for final figures but maybe not.

Otherwise perhaps they are reluctant to release the books if they are in negotiations with potential buyers?

Doubt it.

What on earth in my previous post constitutes 'arse licking' by the way ? It's actually critical of the club and a certain element in the support.

You are a twit though (can I say that on HNA ?)

No....instead you just get on your knees for every ex-footballer you come across.

It really is laughable that everytime anyone comes close to defending the club on this board gets a tongue-lashing from the diminuitive RL/Ideal combo.

EVERY time? You sure?

How do you know which ex-footballers I know and what a silly comment in any case.

Trust RL to analyse a flippant remark like that.

The main crux of my post still rings true however.

To be fair RL, his point is pretty reasonable.

You pop up with the same cheap jibe on a pretty regular basis, it's silly, it bears no relation to what has been said and just appears personal.

what cheap jibe??

I don't say the same thing EVERY time at all. Winchester_Royal is wrong, made a cheap jibe AT ME, though my comments to you were nothing to do with him, and when he's proven to be wrong accuses me of over analysing his remarks.

I suspect accusing someone of 'arse licking' would be considered quite a cheap jibe and when made with no relevance to anything.

And frankly it seems to be some automatic comment from you. Again usually with no relevance to what went before.

No one has proved his comment wrong by the way.
