Sidindaclub We soldout in full 3,000 for west ham, going to do the same i presume at southampton. Will it be 3,000 again for birmingham? or would they let us have a bigger allocation?

handbags_harris For the Birmingham run you buy a return ticket to from Reading to Banbury, and a separate return ticket from Banbury to Birmingham NS. You stay on the same train because your whole journey is covered. The cost of the "split" ticket is significantly cheaper, around £10 - £15, than an unsplit Reading-Birmingham NS return.
The only rule that I know of is that when you do this you are required to use trains that stop at the station where you have split the ticket. As all XC trains stop at Banbury on the way to Birmingham you have no worries about that.
IN fwiw.
