Please take note STAR.Having been a past subscriber of 'Reading world' i was invited to fill in a short survey regarding the service they provide. The final question was along the lines of 'what do you feel would make you consider re-subscribing to the service' To which i checked the 'better quality content box'.Now that we have dropped out of the premiership we will no longer benefit from a million angles of every goal, combined with extensive highlights etc.I'm not looking forward to the grainy, out of focus super zoomed in highlights that will inevitably be experienced. Therefore i would like to ask STAR to put pressure on the club to improve their own match-day coverage with the possible inclusion of two cameras at every non televised home game.
The great caravan park that was located behind the north stand will be all but gone. However the benefits of having an additional camera would be all to clear.I know many clubs in the league do it,with an example being cardiff who always have a long shot and a close up camera shot at every home game.In an age where the football highlights are more and more widespread the club should be thinking about season reviews, and Reading world, which in the championship are fairly tedious affairs.I remember the 106 season there was a camera in the north stand as a one off for the Norwich game ,which added to the highlights so much.Other clubs choose to have a secondary camera next to a goal, but either way its a good addition.Surely the cost of this could be easily justified.
