South Korea Vs Uruguay

by Flyingkiwi » 26 Jun 2010 16:37

Actually, this is a pretty good match. Other than conceeding a soft goal, the Koreans are performing pretty well and certainly look the team most likely . The game is being played pretty much exclusively in in the Uruguay half at the moment, Granted: Uruguay have gone into a defensive pattern but the Koreans are dominating the game. Their strikers, however seem to want one touch too many.

I get the commentary in Chinese and, basically, thats what it's like every match (except for shouts of "yellow card", "red card", "that was pretty" and a running count of the number of corners each side has had "Zhe shi Han Guo dui di shi san de jiao qiu" (this is Korea's 13th corner). They also shout "header" every time someone heads the ball.

So...

The Koreans equalised (that had been coming for a while) which forced Uruguay to come out of their defensive pattern and they've just retaken the lead with probably one of the goals of the tournament from Suarez. Bet they go back on the defensive now!

Ideal What a goal by Suarez. Is Suarez/Forlan the best striker duo in the World Cup?

Yeah I think this too.

Should be Argentina with the quality they have, but atm these two have it.

I meant there was very little analysis of the game, they lack the charisma and knowledge of Pearce/Mowbray on BBC. Though I guess if you're not watching the same commentaries then it's of little importance anyway ;)

That's pretty much what I mean too.
