Remember the lad giving a really strange interview last year going on about how he didn't like playing football, didn't like the life, felt no connection to the club or the other players.

Maybe more should take that attitude.

First time I have watched Arsenal live (ie. sat on my sofa) since they were trashed at Chelsea a few months ago. And surprise surprise, once again they're losing against one of the top sides, this time at Man Utd who look so much in control it is untrue. We always hear so much about Arsenal's 'wonderful football' as if they invented passing the ball, well today so far they have looked more like Reading than Real Madrid. Tbh, Man Utd in their pomp > Arsenal in their pomp. Arsenal = flat-track bullies.

/Spacey mode on

I've been saying that for about ten seasons on here

/Spacey off.

Dirty dirty team too. I like Nasri, I admit.

Fletcher is an unpleasant bloke too.

Too many of them go missing in games like this. I didn't even realise Rosicky was playing until he got taken off...

Arsenal are making a bit more of a fight of it now, but still don't look like scoring!

Absolutely.

I was disappointed that there wasn't any handbags in this game. Still, quite happy to see Arsenal lose and Arsene's sour face.

For a player with 'no way back at all at Utd' their fans certainly seem to love Rooney

Against the bigger teams Arsenal struggle. Probably because they have no plan b. They try and pass through the middle, that the bigger teams go narrow and don't follow the ball like the lesser teams do. Once Arsenal do go wide, their final ball is so poor, and when a decent cross does come in, there's no one in the box anyway.

They are so frustrating to watch, and they miss a genuine leader like Vieira, who can take the game by the scruff of the neck. Van Persie and Fabreags never really got in the game. Arsenal need a whole new spine in more ways than one!

Someone suggested he was a bit, you know, mental. After the games, he puts his headphones in and all but vanishes.

A handful of divs shouting "Rooooney" doesn't mean he's loved, there were still boos which I also don't agree with during a big game.

Anyway, shame Arsenal's tactics were to just try and kick us off the park, 17 fouls and 4 bookings ruined what could have been a decent game. Anti-football from Wenger.
