Really. Why do you follow me around the board so much and continue to quote me all the time? You seem a little obsessed if I'm honest.

Not sure if two threads I'm already commenting on really counts as "following you around" but whatever helps your esteem, fella.

Extended-Phenotype You get me wrong, I'm genuinely asking how you police or deal with a group of such a size chanting racist abuse. I couldn't give a f/ck whether it was cherrypicked or not. You can't arrest everybody, so what do you do?

I think the idea is that the ref would stop the game...?

Might fans want certain games stopped?

No Fixed Abode Eh? No fishing attempt there at all. It's true.

Yeah, ok

A two footed tackle could end a players career. Racism will not end the victims career.

Are you really being serious?

I would say that racism can ruin people's lives, no?

You don't play with your phone while you are having a cigarette break? What do you want me to do, stare blankly into the distance?

Loving the fact the phone thing has really got to you.

You said bad tackles could end careers, and were "far worse" than "name-calling."

I think your life being ruined is worse than your career ending (particularly when you're already a millionaire).

I'm not silly enough to smoke as I don't have a problem with my nerves. No mates you can chat to whilst you're at football.....

(1) Good for you
(2) The three friends I go with are non-smoking

So you never, ever play with your phone? When having a shit? Or on the train? Or waiting in a queue or something? Seems a pretty strange thing to have a strop about.

Turns out it's quite difficult to render that sound phonetically.

If you listen carefully, they are saying something furious about Liverpool.

Extended-Phenotype I'm not talking about which is easier to spot. What is the next step after the copper spots 400 fans shouting "niggers are no better than monkeys"?

Copper in the show didn't seem to know. The show provided no answers either (which is why I didn't particularly enjoy it). How do you deal with it?

That is for the Criminal Justice system (and the Government sitting above/alongside it) to decide isn't it, rather than the police per se. If the Police arrested, kept in custody, interviewed, bailed, charged 400 people who were caught on CCTV singing "niggers are no better than monkeys" (thats one hell of a piece of quality CCTV kit to capture that, by the way) do you think that the CPS would see that all 400 of them went through the Criminal Courts?

And I wish you even better luck in finding evidence of more than the handful of regrettable examples aired in a lousy C4 documentary last night anyway. Because I strongly doubt that such nonsense happens regularly at football matches these days. Do you think that C4 just chose 2 or 3 games and happened to strike lucky every time :?: No, they chose issues/areas/history as I highlighted above which - albeit regrettable - were highly likely to generate the angle they wanted. An angle - in my opinion - which is barely representative.

Next week: Channel 4 reveal that a few members of the Tory Party are a bit racist.

Home or away?

Home: You identify them by where they're sitting with video devices and ban them for X games.
Away: Identify the ring leaders if you can and move in en mass when they go for a piss / pint / leave and are therefore more isolated.
