sandman Perhaps if he was more consistent with his 'best' then he might not be threatened with a move to Spurs.

Its hard when your competition is Ronaldo and Bale, though, tbf

He has shown he can play in a central/free role this season and done well there. He is one of the most inconsistent players going though, like a higher class Kebe, he can beat about five players in one move and then the next time he gets it he'll run into the first player in front of him and you wonder what happened to the guy that beat the five players.

What happened to Isco? Started the season off really well, but didn't hear much about him after that.

soggy biscuit Spanish media say Barcelona have had a £38M offer for Aguero turned down. Aguero's father interviewed elsewhere today (amazing timing) says his son wants to move to Barcelona but City wont let him leave.

In today's market that's a poor offer, considering he's the same age with only a marginally worse record than Cavani who went for something like £50 million.

Of course but it is the start of the negotiation/game. Then his old man says he wants out then more drip feeding of commemts to the media then finally the agreed price is lower than City hoped

not entirely sure why liverpool are going after a 32 year old striker instead of a younger, equally talented player. although i guess it will give another dimension to their style of play being able to have a tall, strong forward.

he is only 32. I thought he was older

Done deal. MLS doesnt start until January though. Loan to Man City (NY's sister club) to help get around FFP?

Simple really, Ancelotti changed the system they were playing which meant Isco's favoured role wasn't being used any more. When he was at Malaga he could also play wide right but he was never going to play there with Bale around and the emergence of Jese. He's still done well when he has played and imo him coming on with Marcelo, along with Di Maria's performance, was the main reason they won the CL final.
