Pepe the Horseman Cracking game. Bodo came from a goal down at HT, to go 2-1 up in the 92nd min making it 2-2 on aggregate. Looked like they'd got the winner in the 94th min, but Twente went and got one in the 96th min! 3-2 on the night, 4-4 on agg. Into extra time.

Winston Biscuit Brugge is the tie Villa would have wanted, but they look no mugs. Very much the surprise package of the CL so far this season

Sanguine I guess Arsenal are into the QFs then - they have won 7-1 at PSV. Real beat Atletico 2-1 at the Bernabeu, and the winner of that tie faces Arsenal next.
Villa took a big step to a QF with Liverpool or PSG, with a good win at Club Brugge.

And yet Arsenal can’t score for toffee in the PL with their current injuries, says a lot for the state of PSV.

Maybe. But PSV are very good at home. Just two defeats in their last 46 domestic games at home. Beat Liverpool in the group stages. Beat Juventus in the playoff round. And last night's result their first defeat at home in the Champions League since Rangers beat them 1-0 in the playoff round in 22-23 (they still qualified, and beat Arsenal at home in the group stages).
Given the obvious step down in the Dutch league, I think PSV consistently bat above their average, tbf. Very good result last night for Arsenal.

Yes Arsenal can afford to lose 6-0 in the return and still go through

Sanguine It's actually slightly nuts that Arsenal have only won one major European trophy in their history - and it is a competition that doesn't exist any more. 13 league titles, 14 FA Cups - and one Cup Winners' Cup.
Also - doesn't time pass? Liverpool went 31 years without winning the league. Unless Arsenal catch them this season, the Gunners will be at 21 years since their last league title.
