No idea whether stats back me up but if Arsenal don’t score from set plays or something created by the wingers getting to the byline they don’t seem to score. Yes it is difficult to stop but it’s all too predictable.

All the recent talk has been about Man Utd getting Tuchel, Ancelotti, Alonso next season.

I reckon one of them could be Arsenal bound.

Correct, they`re very one dimensional, Arteta will be under huge pressure if they finish this season empty handed again after the position they were in at the new year.
What is it about blind passes across their own box?

Is Tuchel’s England contract just to the end of the WC finals then? :o  :?

I know its just the media being absolute spanners as usual, but its bewildering to see the post match chat in the studio being around whether Arsenal need to 'rethink things', and what changes they need to make etc

They are top of the league, top of the CL group, and 4pm yesterday were having a season they could really only dream of. but now after losing their first game at home they apparently need to rethink things?! wtf!

Yes, typical media reaction on both counts, i.e.
Arsenal are a busted flush
Man Utd are ready to conquer the world.

I think Arsenal will be champions this season because they nearly always beat the teams that they are expected to beat so will probably accumulate enough points even if (they don't play Liverpool again) they don't do so well against the better teams around.

On the other hand City, Liverpool ,Chelsea ,Man Utd and Villa have shown that they can be quite vulnerable against the lesser clubs .

Meanwhile miracle man Carrick has got his team actually trying in games against the big clubs and with no involvement in Europe this season or the later stages of the League Cup they really should, with all the money spent, be making a real challenge for the title let alone a top 4 finish.

When we go out at the group stage, yes.

Why are Arsenal not penalised at every set piece! There's blocking by standing your ground, but actively running at a player, initiating contact, and then blocking is just a foul! Makes for turgid football as well

Can see a rule change coming

Thoroughly enjoyed the game (which is rare for me watching Prem games these days). As i'm a miserable human being who only see the worst in things/people - i thought Ben White (and Madueke when he came on...) were both really short of quality when it came to the final ball or just giving the ball away in general.

I thought Arsenal were supposed to be able to beat anyone with their B team? Regardless, I do like how they like to get forward quickly, like Man City used to do when they used to win things.

Good statement win for them today Leeds isn`t an easy place to go, ask Liverpool United and Chelsea. they`re in a good place to push on now, of course we have the big one in April when they go to city. they`ll be hoping to have a healthy cushion by then.
No doubt we`ll have the unusual spectacle of spurs fans tomorrow urging their own team to lose. it won`t be the first time.

Shouldn’t need to do much urging though….
