Big Foot Set to captain England tomorrow night 8)

Set to captain England in the absence of the injured Steven Gerrard tomorrow night. Probably would have made the bench if Gerrard had been fit.

Extended-Phenotype Cue England being completely overrun with zero creativity in midfield until the last minutes where Lampard kicks the ball quite hard, randomly hitting the target and keeping his posters on the walls of idiots for a few more months to come.

Set to captain the side and be presented with a golden cap by Sir Geoff Hurst.
His dad is to be part of this as well, along with his kids.
Isn't this all a bit OTT for reaching a so-called milestone which is hardly rare as two other players have gone past 100 caps in this year alone?

Presumably he means so-called because there have been 4 players hit the 100 in the last few years which is as many as in the previous 100 years.

Does that diminish the achievement? Yeah a little, but it's still something well worth celebrating, especially for a player of such limited ability....

Lampard anonymous during England's 2-0 thrashing by Chile, save a freekick - deflected, natch - well saved by the Chilean 'keeper.

? Except he put Rooney through with a great ball and he should have scored. On the ball, he was the pick of the midfield.

Which is the footballing equivalent of winning a tallest dwarf contest.

What a stunning epitaph to an international career. "Frank Lampard, he wasn't quite as shit as the others"

Not exactly constants over the same period as Lampard and Gerrard, Neville who hasn't played for England since 2007, Beckham since 2010, Ferdinand since 2011 and Rooney who made his debut 10 years ago

^ This - retired due to Lampard out-performing him.
