Royals and Racers .... rare Wednesday night outing for me up the M40 to watch .... Beaconsfield and Flackwell Heath in the Southern league Div 1 Central.

'Heathens' grabbed 2-1 wins against the 'Rams' in both league matches last season - as well as a B&B S-F win by the same score in March
- somehow 'missed' tomorrow's game off my m/w d/load of 'possibles' - really am slipping a bit in my dotage :| - but may well try that myself as there isn't too much else on.

Tonight (Tue) off to the Racecourse for the 'East Berksico' IL1-SC tussle betwixt The 'Yellamen' and the 'Moles'.
..... both sides lost their season openers: Ascot 0-1 at Littlehampton on Sun PM and Binfield whumped 1-4 by Horndean at Stubbs.

Last night (Mon) nipped across to the SB for Bracknell 1-1 Uxbridge - pretty dull insipid encounter
- newly promoted visitors grabbed a barely deserved 2nd half lead beyond the hour - only for recently returned 'Legend' Seb Bowerman, to cut in and drive a shot into the top corner from range, as the game entered the last 10'.

Still changes underway there - a fancy media/board room been put up behind the dugouts and the small seated stand has gone from over that side. The new-ish seated 'stand' opposite is being worked on but is a quite narrow affair (only 3 rows of tip-ups with barriers) and has 'lost' it's roof. Everybody seems to stand up in it anyhow? :?
An elevated 'shed' / covered terrace has been erected down the far end for the 'Ultras' - plus drum.
....but it's a rotten ground for viewing with any size of crowd and the inside bar queue can be lengthy.
Att: last night was 724.
