Adkins has taken Southampton from an average League One team to the Premier League in 2 seasons... I'm not surprised. In fact if we were in there position, Anton would be getting chased around Whitley with pitchforks if he did the same to McD. And we only needed to go up the one level.

I hope they do go down now though. 1) as it will serve a lesson to Cortese & 2) so we can rob them of Cork and Lallana

NO way this guy will produce better results than Adkins in a situation (like us) where we are punching above our weight. Adkins for me was a person I took an instant dislike to, for no reason I just found him annoying, but you cannot argue about the job he was doing.

This appointment will hopefully see Southampton capitulate, and after the actions of their board, they will deserve it.
