FiNeRaIn Two old firm games we've had the kitchen sink thrown at us whilst playing the reserves and taken 4 points off them. They are really hurting. So much fight and spirit in this rangers side, makes you shiver with pride.![]()

Apparently celtic are signing dave kitson in January also. Not sure he'd go down well though as he turned down the chance to play for Ireland.

there is no doubt celtic are a better side but it's tough when your strikers can't finish and refereeing decisions go against you, oh and celtic are missing players too, what it boils down to, and I'm sure you'll agree, daniella, is two very average sides, with rangers having a better defence (i.e. they can defend, kick, hoof, hassle, no real ability) and celtic are better everywhere else bar up front where they can't stick a chance away and of course having your only two midfielders who can score prolifically (Brown and Maloney) out doesn't help.

I think it's fair to say Celtic have the better technically accomplished players, but it seems to me Rangers have a resilience about them that Celtic don't have. They're also a more rugged side, and there are teams that will be intimidated by that. What you appear to be saying, gus, is that Rangers have a better defence and attack. That leaves Celtic with the better midfield. That depends on what you class as a better midfield. With the ball Celtic's midfield is far superior, but when it comes to the nitty gritty of midfield play I think Rangers players have the egde in that regard. They're bigger, stronger, better in the air, offer more support to their defence etc. They're not a pretty side to watch, Rangers, but they're extremely effective domestically. And yesterday they had Miller, Beasley, Naismith, Thomson, Mendes, Bougherra, and Novo (after 10 mins) all out. They are ALL key players, and they did extremely well to get a point. They struggled all game, but their resilience showed in the end.
Lastly, I remember your assertion that Aidan McGeady is "world class". No he's not. He's quick, skilful, and direct, but his end product is consistently poor, and it is the end product that counts for most. I'm not basing that assertion on one game, I'm basing it on all the games I've seen McGeady play in for Celtic and Ireland. He cannot be considered world class.

Gus the teenage cow I remember people saying ronaldo had no end product when he was mcgeady's age
oh and tell me who beat 4 players and provided the cross for the one goal celtic did score?
out of all the players in scotland only he HAS THE POTENTIAL to play for a big 4 side
