Fitz Hall off to Newcastle as well, QPR - richest club in the championship, actually a selling club.

Disagree. The player in question is famously adaptable - suitable for clubs big and small.

LOL @ City still having to pay £70k a week in wages to Robinho as Santos can just about afford £35k a week

City keep stating that Santos are paying all his wages and bonuses for the rest of the season. Struggled to believe that from when they first said it what with the lack of wages paid in South America.

Better to let him rot in the reserves to make a point.

Brazillian currency quite strong at the moment, up to 6 companies are helping to fund the wages and Santos have just had a new president elected.

Whore Jackie In talks with Hull over a new contract. That's got to be at least five improved deals over the last four to five seasons.

Fair play to the boy. He knows he ain't the best around and may only have 4-5 years in the top division earning good money. Just playing the system well to set himself and his family up for the future.

Wonder if he'll do his usual trick of going on holiday for the rest of the season the moment the ink is dry on the new contract, partly contributing to Hull's relegation, bleating about he deserves a move back to the Premiership, signing for, say, Forest who sneak up in the play offs, playing a blinder for the first 4 months, getting an improved contract in January, going on holiday for the rest of the season the moment the ink is dry on the contract, partly contributing to Forest's relegation blah blah blah ....... repeat ad infinitum.

So the deadline is 5pm...................here's the latest

0949: DONE DEAL: One exit to tell you about at Newcastle, with veteran midfielder Geremi signing for Turkish side Ankaragucu. The 31-year-old had not played for the Magpies since 20 October."

0952: DONE DEAL: First deal of the day involving a Premier League club done and dusted and it's Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara, 29, who has joined Scottish giants Celtic on loan until the end of the season, with the Bhoys having an option to buy.

0954: DONE DEAL: We are officially cooking - and so are Celtic. They've added to the signing of Diomansy Kamara by snapping up teenager Paul Slane from Motherwell. The 18-year-old joins the club on a four-year deal.

1016: DONE DEAL: Fulham have let a striker go and have now taken one in too. Welcome to the Premier League Stefano Okaka, who leaves Italian giants Roma having netted the winner in their 2-1 home win over Siena and joins the Cottagers on loan until the end of the season.

Very big breaking story from the Championship, but it's not transfer related. Peterborough and their manager Mark Cooper have parted company - a paltry 79 days after he took over as Posh boss.
