New York City FC aren't an actual football club yet, they're a new franchise joining the MLS and so, as such, there's no club for him to sign & have his registration with.

ayjaydee FL was interviewed at length in Saturday's Times and it seems he was convinced he had signed for NY but in reality he had signed a Heads of Agreement with City Football Group the holding company.
Could all be PR but Lampard comes out of the interview very well.

Ian Royal good at scoring goals, not a lot else. poor at international level generally, if Kes is going to bring Gerrard into that, well he's not been great for England, but better than fatty.
One of the most overrated players in the country. I doubt he'd show much form at another club, Chelsea's approach very much suits him. That isn't a compliment.
