had some great games, had some terrible games, occasionally looked like a walking penalty/red card, not captain material.
dont hold much of a grudge.
at least he was passionate about his football.

Jesus Christ he really got his act together toward the end of last season, won a pen in the p/o semi and scored in the final.

Why on earth do people want to slag him off? He made us 3 million quid!

Tinrib One of the worse Captains in my 30 years supporting. Too many on field spats with other team players, and no doubt behind the scenes too.

Brian knew exactly what he was doing by selling him.

Brian kept him as captain. The right decision, as usual from Brian, because Mills led us to the playoff final. You don't do that unless you've got the players with you, or if you are one of the worst captains in 30 years.

I hold no animosity towards Matt. Ironically tho he looked like he ended up on a team destined to be promoted at the start of the season and at the end he is still in the Championship and his former teammates ended up being promoted. Just goes to show you that having the money to buy talent alone doesn't result in a winning side...character, heart and talent does. Funny game this is...

He had some great games for us but the difference is from what I have seen/heard/read is that he did it to further his own career not for the shirt.

I don't think he was pushed, he jumped at the first sniff of dollar

Couldn't care less about Mills now.

In my opinion he got the reception he deserved in his first home game for Leicester, done and dusted now.

Mills - couldn't wait to leave, couldn't wait to cash in
Long - didn't want to leave, club had to cash in.

Was kind of p/ssed off that he left us for a ‘rival’, and I guess when he said about wanting to go somewhere with more ambition it was a sore point, but I thought he had some great games for us.

Still, I think it’s perfectly acceptable to mime a oxf*rd at him as he watches the ship he abandoned for better things sail past his rudderless showboat.

Exactly. He was excellent in the final two games, completely committed, passionate and playing at his very best. He must have known he was on the way to better things, win or lose, and could have done a Shorey. He didn't, so he still has my respect.

He'll be back.

Be interesting to hear he does feel having made the move and been frozen out at Leicester whilst seeing you guys romp to promotion!

Would he have any regrets or does money talk more nowdays for clubs and players? (The 5 million fee you got in was probably pretty handy!)

There are a few rumours floating about that Brian might welcome him back as he is going to be given the boot by Leicester this summer. His price should have dropped too!

I am in two minds but on balance would be prepared to accept him back if he made an apology and said he had realised the error of his ways.

Given he's carried on exactly as normal since going to Leicester, getting in trouble with his manager, being inconsistent, getting sent off... I'd be fuming if Brian brought the cock end back.

'Greed completely.

The only animosity I've ever had with Mills is the fact that it's Leicester. If it were not my home, I wouldn't give a shit.

I'd take Mills back like a shot, but I think he'd only be a bench warmer - I wouldn't drop Pearce or Gorkss for him.

Plus he split up with Emma a few months ago and she's been dating Aston from JLS.

He upset the dressing on more than one occasion. No thank you.
