Malaga 2 up at Real Madrid at half-time. Should be a top second half (SS2).

Jordan Henderson is the biggest joke signing for me, followed closely by Downing.

Spurs a bit lucky to sneak a 1-0 win against a well organised West Brom side.

Got to laugh at King Kenny for pleading poverty in a pre match interview. Well Kenny, you're the 2nd biggest spending club behind City in the last 5-6 years and you were soundly beaten tonight.

Because you would have thought by spending all that money in that period, Liverpool would have won something by now.

June John Mikel Obi Lyn £16m
May Ben Sahar Hapoel Tev Aviv £320,000

May Salomon Kalou Feyenoord £8m
May Michael Ballack Bayern Munich Free

2005

Aug Michael Essien Lyon £24.4m
July Shaun Wright-Phillips Manchester City £21m
July Lassana Diarra Le Havre £1m
July Scott Sinclair Bristol Rovers £160,000
June Asier Del Horno Athletic Bilbao £8m
Jan Jiri Jarosik CSKA Moscow £4.83m
July Ricardo Carvalho Porto £19.85m
July Didier Drogba Marseille £24m

Looking back at that list reminds me of some of the crap Chelsea have bought - Del Horno and Jarosik being 2 good examples.

Lindegaard starts again for Utd apparently. I don't understand the decision process in it, surely Fergie should have picked his number 1 by now and stuck with him, the rotation can't be doing either of them any good.
