Germany look very comfortable passing the ball around the mid-field and they've created far more clear chances that the Argies (however, they all seem to have gone to the Johnnie Wilkinson school of goal-kicking) but their defence looks a bit disorganised. It's almost like they don't all speak the same language.

Snigger at Treves complaining to the ref about diving but I suppose if anyone would recognise one, it'd be him!

Dirk Gently
Sarah Star ...and they're getting a bit rattled - like Brazil did yesterday when they went behind. LOL at Tevez's rant.

Of course - they're South Americans. It's one of the many unchallenged clichés in football.

South Americans are bad losers,
Germans are efficient,
Africans are defensively niaive.....

You forgot...

England will disappoint.

Very poor from Argentina and from the BBC commentator who thought that Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron was a wag.

Can't see Argentina coming back from this tbh... and I never thought I'd write that before the match started.

Brilliant. Cannot wait to see Maradona spontaneously combust; and Heinze is a loathsome footballer who would rather fake injury on the edge of his own box rather than defend. Cu nt.

I really like this German side -no outstanding stars but excellent technique pratically to a man.

Now 3-0

Judging by this tournament, all of those seem true tbh... apart from the African one.

Oh... and 3-0

Always fancied Germany to win. Maradona as entertaining as he is isn't tactically aware enough to change it when things aren't going his way.

No outstanding stars :o Bastian Schweinsteiger has been sensational in the past two matches.
This German side didn't get anywhere enough credit for the way they dispatched England. Now they have hammered England playing attacking football. Great credit to them. Schweinsteiger, Lahm and Podoloski have been brilliant today. They are the team to beat now.
