Didn't see it, tbh. But I have seen a few people on twitter being bemused at the decision.

Pepe the Horseman How was that a red card though? Wasn't even a foul.

It was a red card because it was a second yellow. He was late, didn’t get the ball and got the keeper
On that evidence alone it’s a yellow and since he’d already been booked he’s a goner
Two match ban as well, instead of one, as it’s his second case of idiocy this season

Ah, that's not so bad then. Assumed it was straight red from the twitter uproar. Still don't think there was enough in it to be a yellow.

Agreed.
If it had been an outfield player the tackle would have been a genuine 50/50 but it was a weak challenge from the keeper and IMHO no card.

You're allowed to be arrogant if you have the talent to back it up ... and he clearly has

Allowed to be stroppy, not so much

Really dislike Son…awful cheat

Would think Arsenal will get 4th now but Spurs and United will keep chasing. West Ham and Wolves probably too far adrift now although of course there’s a different route for West Ham, may have to put all their eggs into winning the Europa League - something I can see happening

Not sure if West Ham will win the EL. Barcelona look like a pretty big obstacle to overcome at this moment in time.

Barca obviously have more technical quality but as a foreign team, particularly in Spain, you’d rarely (if ever) come across players like Antonio and Soucek - they have a bit of an unknown element in them

Both caused huge problems for Sevilla who have only lost two games in the league all year - a team that also have won the EL something like 4 times in the last 6 years

Yeah that's true but Barca do look to be hitting form again now at the business end of the season and, I understand the concept about how Soucek and Antonio will be awkward to play against due to their physicality, but then I dread to think how the rest of the team will cope with Barca's technical ability.

Watched Everton's latest horror show at Palace.
To think, 4 of their back 5 are in and around the England squad and the other has played countless big games for Ireland and yet their defence is as bad as ours.

If Son is a cheat then Richarlison is a super cheat and the shame is that the promising Anthony Gordon has started to copy him.

Their attack isn’t faring much better either tbf - and to think they have the likes of Richarlison, DCL, Gray, Alli…VDB etc etc

Whilst I agree with Richarlison being another cheat, I don’t think he is as quite as bad as Son (see also McTominay’s “elbow” against him last season), part of the dark arts for Jose I’d presume. Martinelli is another one - frustrating as it really does tarnish the game seeing grown men act so pathetic

maybe true, but I really think the Cup was not a priority in the circumstances.

Did you see the thrashing by Spurs 5-0 and the extremely fortunate last minute win at home (where they used to have a really good record) v Newcastle having been second best for most of the game.?

I think they will just about survive but there is something wrong at that club-the players just don't seem focused which they will need to be away at West Ham and Burnley before games v Man Utd, Leicester and Liverpool.
Fat Fwank really does have a job on his hands.

That's brilliant. I might stand corrected, but reminds me of (I think) of a seat I saw directly behind a stanchion in the away end at Ashton Gate. There were a few in the old Main Stand at Anfield too.

Always end up having a shit view at Loftus Road. Probably my least favourite away ground tbh.
