I bet that some people at Watford are casting envious glances at Burnley's progress (today's defeat notwithstanding).

Pepe the Horseman Zola's not going to last much longer at Watford.

The fans had already turned on him before today:

I had a tenner on him to be next to go at 33/1 before they lost to Bolton. Reckon DJ will beat him to it though.

Jol must surely be on his way any day now?

Barnsley sack Flitcroft.

Dave Jones can't be far behind.

Who would want to work with a bunch of players just handed to come and told to play though?

Certainly not a British one.

If we did sack Zola we'd probably replace him with another Italian...

And Rene Meulensteen takes over straight away. It always looked suspect when he was brought in as coach.

soggy biscuit Rene Meulensteen becomes Fulham's new head coach. Employed to work alongside Jol.

Sounds like the clock just started ticking.

17 days. Lol.

Coyle gone too apparently. Bad week for managers if true.

People who are probably not currently employed as managers.

Looking from outside this seems an odd one.
They sold McCarthy, Figueroa and Kone for about £25 million and brought in not much.
They are mid-table, just a few points behind us and are still in Europe and Coyle has only been there since the summer.
It makes you think that if we hadn't won at Forest on Friday our man would have been under pressure.

The others were on the cards, but thats mental.

Relegated, sold their best players and most of all having to cope with playing in the Europa League. Thats why they are mid table, not because of the manager. Just like Birmingham were under Hughton when they went down and played in europe. They kept their manager and went on to finish 4th.
