URZZZZ McBurnie really isn’t the sharpest tool in the box (quite literally too - 0 goals this season)

Been recorded stamping on someone’s head, he claims his innocence but personally doubt it given his track record

Oh ffs, you obviously saw the short clip

Watch the whole video and then decide

Gibb white got assaulted almost, someone fell over trying to attack him and mcburnie who has a oxf*rd leg was shown trying to step over him whilst losing balance

He genuinely didn't do anything wrong

Yeah - possibly you’re right - like I said though, with a player with the track record he has, it doesn’t work in his favour

He's a scumbag, got a history of being a thug. Hopefully the police will be looking in to him.

Yeah - I understand in the spur of the moment people do strange things but he has a history of continuously doing it, not sure many clubs will touch him with a barge pole this summer assuming Sheffield try and move him on

So much talk about the “huge clear out” needed at Man Utd.

Arsenal can be cut a tiny bit of slack (for apparently being the youngest squad in the PL) but my oh my, if they don’t need a huge clear out they certainly need a “major overhaul”.

(Well, you gotta embrace football cliches.)

I think criticism of Arsenal is a little unfair tbh.

I am definitely lolzing at them blowing CL qualification when it was in their hands, but in general they have gone from finishing 8th place last year to 5th (barring something amazing from spurs on sunday) and being within a point of 4th, all with a young team.

That's pretty reasonable progress I reckon

He would have been looking for an excuse to lash out at Forest supporters. He is the bloke who stamped on someone on the street so of course he will take extreme measures to defend a teammate.

The Forest supporter who attacked Gibbs-White should also spend some time in jail btw, he's just as big of a prick.

Agreed - the big question mark though is how much they've been helped by not having European football this season. Add in the fact they got knocked out in the 3rd round of the cup and a run by the kids in the League Cup is the only additional games they've had this year.

Will they be able to progress further next year with Europa League football to contend with.

Next season is a big one for Arsenal. They must be one of the clubs under most pressure/expectation. If they finish 5th again and have average runs in cups/europe then I think its failure. They might get lucky with Chelsea falling back a bit what with the ownership/money issue there though and therefore another CL spot opening up more

Arsenal need a decent striker, really not convinced their central midfield is good enough either. Striker is the key one though.

Their attacking midfield is decent but they definitely need a better defensive midfielder in there to balance it out. Double swoop for Phillips and Bamford* if Leeds go down.

* I'm still not totally convinced by Bamford.

Let's not forget Arsenal have spent £450m in 4 years. To spend that much and still have gaping holes in an inexperienced squad is pretty poor.

I think given those squad issues they've done well to be in with a shout of 4th (remember, it's not over yet - this is Spurs we're talking about) but Arsenal have been really poorly managed. Conte came in and has nearly sorted Spurs out in 9 months and 2 signings.

Really hope they give Conte a big transfer budget this summer. They could definitely overtake Chelsea next season if Conte is given the money, they are a couple of years off challenging City and Liverpool though.

And it never won't be funny that Conte was free and available and United passed him up. Negligence at its best.

Agree with everything you say there.

I could also see them going for Calvin Bassey but I would imagine there being a bit of a queue.

If either he or Tavernier are still at Rangers come August I will be amazed.

Just can't ever see Bamford being that prolific, even in a team that supplies more chances than Leeds. Do like him though.

Love Phillips as a player, absolutely immense for England in the Euros. But he seems really, really injury prone and I just can't get this photo out of my mind.

It obviously has no bearing on their merits as a player, but it invariably colours my judgement of them. Same with Ben White, James Maddison etc.

I follow Rangers to some extent and it has been good to see the progress he has made having been released by Leicester.
Early on this season he was used as a left-back and he got a bit exposed there for pace but moving into the left-sided centre-back role he has flourished.
What I like is that he uses his strength (a bit like Konate at Liverpool) in a fair way.

Last night has brought him to the attention of a much wider audience.

Really quite excited about today's football (and anxious about months without football!)

There's a picture doing the rounds of the Premier league trophy AT ANFIELD and set up with the Red carpet and podium already :o

Could we be in for a conspiracy or matchfixing?!
