Turns out the "bomb" was a dummy device left behind after a training exercise

So it turns out it was a dummy explosive accidentally left there by a company that undertook a training excersise with dogs.

When did the training excersise take place? Unless it was shortly before the Utd game then a lookalike bomb was sitting there for how long without anyone noticing? Surely security/stewards/cleaners etc should have noticed??

it took place last Wednesday apparently. That feels like a long time for a bomb-a-like to be left in a stadium with no one noticing.

Poor, very poor administation by the security company that "planted" the drill devices.

Like with any live munitions, they should have been signed for, counted out and counted back in. Unbelievable!

I trust that they will liable for the ticketing/travel costs etc for the Bournemouth fans that made the lengthy trip.

It might do but if you've tried to hide it, how many people are in the stadium outside of game time?

You would have thought they'd have had a map or something of where they are were and you know, counted them out and counted them back in again.
