Royal Rother Time catches up with every sportsman and 35 is no age to start playing in the fastest most physical league in the world - Zlatan will show some flashes of brilliance of course, but get injured a lot, prove to be luxury, then end up in China for one last pay day in 2017 so very likely Rashford will get his 30 games anyway.

I can see ZI being signed partly for his character and influence. From all that is said about him you often hear how he inspires others and drags people up a level.

Does he really get injured a lot? Only looking at how many games played it doesn't look too bad. He missed 14 games in 14/15 season but aside from that in the other 4 season from the last 5 he missed 7, 5, 4 & 6. doesn't seem bad to me. some of them likely to be suspensions too.

The feeling I get from this is that the damage will be done to their title credentials in the games when Ibrahimovic doesn't get up to speed.
Besides, creativity seems to have been United's Achilles heel this last season. Giving Zlatan the ball and expecting him to create something seems a bit of a stretch.

Whenever I saw him in Paris, he was objectively rubbish but would score key goals (i.e. openers, or ones that would have won the game). Then once a month he'd do something insane.

The media love for Mourinho is back to full scale. They seem to have got over the fall out from the Caniero debacle.

How long will it be before the media start to hound Jose again.......

Probably in about three weeks when Caneiro's case is heard and more details emerge.

SSN reporting that he won't be talking until July, it would be nice if they just went "so we'll shut up ourselves until then as there's nothing to report"

With all of the public spaculation that has gone on for months and his £36m contract....they really deserve each other and the failure that will (hopefully) come with it.

My Chelsea hatred has relented a bit...at least

Be interesting to see how he behaves now he is back managing a big club again. Didn't cover himself in glory in Madrid.

Not a rumour

Possible rape of a minor...?
https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/david- ... 54276.html

De Gea is also said to be mentioned in another piece of testimony in which a minor claimed to have been raped by Torbe, claiming that the incident was filmed so that De Gea and some Athletic Bilbao players could watch.

Confirmed she was not a minor. Some weird and grim detail coming out in the Spanish news though. Some infamous p*rn director who is being charged and or might be charged with abusing women in a forced p*rny kind of way is accused of sending video of it to a well known Spanish goalkeeper and arranging a special party for him with female guests who didn't want to be there.

De Gea, Isco, Muniain & Javi Martinez being talked about by their press right now.

What is wrong with young men nowadays? In my time, we got by with a bit of cleavage and possibly the flash of knicker top.

That and getting noshed off outside the old purple turtle.

Looks like time has already caught up with him.

So, how much were Utd going to be paying him? £400k pw? More?

Hope it's a done deal. Guess they'll leave it a few weeks before announcing it in slightly more muted tones than they might have anticipated.

Tbf he scored 50 goals in 51 games last season - and he will always be a bit of 'a Rougier', totally shite with intermittent flashes of utter genius. But yeah, he's finally looked his age at these Euros.
