Isn't Curbishley the "technical Director"?

Ray Wilkins sacked though.

Edit: yep - first team technical director

Fulham FC are really turning into a laughing stock now; first Muelensteen is sacked, then Magath asks him to come back in some undefined role. Meanwhile Wilkins turns up to take training and is told by a club official that Magath - who Wilkins has never spoken to - wants him out so is sent home, whilst Curbishley - after a "short" meeting, again with a club official - relieved of his duties!

Its says something when al Fayed and his pedalo statue start looking like a sane way to run a club.

Unsurprisingly, there are reports from "sources" at Loftus Road suggesting that 'Arry is on the brink.....

http://www.westlondonsport.com/features ... s-football

'Arry has denied it...and has had what looks suspiciously like a vote of confidence in him by his Chairman.....

Lots of suggestion that Van Gaal will take over at Spurs this summer.

Van Gaal said yesterday in a press conference
"I will definitely not be in charge for the Euro 2016 qualification campaign. I don't know where I will go next. Normally I go with my pension, and go to live in Portugal [where he owns a property], but maybe there will come a new challenge. I have said before that a challenge should be a club in the Premier League. That's a challenge. Maybe Tottenham are coming but, first, we have to go to Brazil"

Some Dutch journalist on the radio yesterday also said that Levy was in the Netherlands to meet with Van Gaal last month and said even though that meeting has been denied he knows it's true as he know someone who was actually there in it.

Also said Van Gaal is one of the most explosive characters around and would be huge entertainment as he would quickly fall out with ever member of the press

WBA players are reportedly unimpressed with Pepe Mel change of tactics and with them not having won since he took over in early January there are mutterings he could soon depart.

Ignoring how their fantastic win ratio had led to Pepe Mel being appointed in the first place

West Brom offer Pepe Mel no guarantees he won't be sacked http://bit.ly/1caLAXn

The game really has gone mad. How about sacking the people that keep appointing or short-listing the wrong men?

Personally i feel there should be a manager window, where clubs can only sack/appoint at a certain time of the season (say xmas and summer)

Only problem with that I guess is there'd be even more panic sackings at Xmas.

And if you sack them at any other time you get a three point deduction
