Same amount of matches.
Lesser calibre of competition
And it's not The Championship.

Orient will not take our record.

They'll take the FL record, our record will stand specifically for the Championship but it will no longer be the FL record.

Evening Ian, had a nice day?

Yes, we know.

Orient have to get to 107 first of course.

Yes, Spurs have just pulled a goal back and may well turn it around, but well played Brentford, very pleased for them.

What a five-year period for them, with no end in sight.

2-2, but my comment stands, no matter what happens in this game.

Another terrific display from Arsenal. An absolute delight to watch.

A slightly more direct, and younger, version of Man City.

Would you agree Lux?

I love watching them play, agree more direct and they love weaving patterns out in taght situations, and on the counter they are a dream. I'd say they are way better to watch than City, but City have a bit more quality. Just hope Arsenal can keep this going, be nice to see them win the league. They seem to have done everything the right way. Given the manager time and bought wisely.....cleared the trash out and have a great unit. Only concern is the striker situation.

Orient now a point behind Reading's 106 season, with 52 points after 22 games, to our 53.

Orient P22 W16 D4 L2 F35 A12 Pts52
Reading P22 W16 D5 L1 F41 A10 Pts53

From this point we won 9 of 11, with two draws, before our form tailed off a little at the end of the season, only winning 6 of our last 13 games.

And is the fastest player to 20 Premier League goals, in just 14 games. Previous record was Kevin Phillips' 21 games, in 1999-00.

Phillips holds the record for fastest to 25 Premier League goals, scoring them in 26 matches. Haaland himself has the record for the top 5 leagues, with 25 goals in his first 25 games for Dortmund, he looks set to smash both now.

Looking ahead, the Premier League record for a player's first 40 goals is 45 games, held jointly by Shearer and Cole.

at this rate in a 38 game prem season, he will score (providing he keeps it up which lets face it he SHOULDN'T on paper but he is a oxf*rd animal of a player) he will have 54 goals this season

so at this rate it will take him 4 seasons to break the all time record

I don't really like United but can't deny Ten Haag has steered his first 16 league games pretty well, especially given the Ronaldo saga and the start that he had as well and all the pressure he was coming under at the time. If they manage to buy a good CF in January, I think they will finish in the top four, although I don't think they will get that CF they are after this season. Their team looks much more solid now.

City failing to beat Everton.

Arsenal win tonight would take them 7 points clear on level games. The prospect of their clash in a few weeks’ time is mouth-watering.

Arsenal can now afford to lose both City games (as long as they keep winning the others obviously)

That’s strange. I thought the title was a done thing after two games as no-one could stop City?

I’m sure they’ll win the League Cup though

Everton have had a tendency to upset Man City over recent years, City are always capable of a cock up against Everton, Southampton and Palace really. The sides they "should" be beating on paper that can turn up and pull off a result against them.

LOL at Spurs.....absolute shite. Lucky it was only 2.
Wasn't Djed Spence supposed to be the next big thing? His career is nosediving fast bench warming there.
Kane will regret not signing for a better club. Wasted his career there.
It's hilarious watching their fans in meltdown, and with Arsenal top and playing the best football in the league by a country mile the pain they must be feeling..... :D :D :D :D
