I only have a very , very small smattering of sympathy for Chelsea as my son is a supporter/ season ticket holder with support going back to the day that Kerry Dixon went there.

Watching the game last night Chelsea were in the ascendancy when Felix got sent off.
I don't recall him having a bad disciplinary record and I guess he hasn't fitted in at Athleti because he is not a filthy player.
Up until that moment he had been energetic and played some classy stuff and he was probably over- eager and keen to impress.

It happens and when a manager and team are struggling these things plus injuries tend to happen more often.
Potter is being judged quite harshly by the fans IMHO partly because the club and fans have got rather above themselves in terms of entitlement after spending so many years being just another West Ham ,or on a good day a Spurs, before the big money arrived.

The thing that annoys me about incidents like the red card is the complete inability of the commentary team to spot what’s right in front of them, despite the replays

Firstly, there’s no doubt it was a red card
However, they kept going on about the straight leg and not pulling out, but replays from a number of directions show that Felix, far from having a straight leg at the point of contact was, indeed, starting to pull out and by the time contact was made had his knee almost back to 90º

Still funny though

'greed!

Mendy is injured so you play Kepa who costs you two goals by not dealing with the cross.

In the last two games, Havertz has decided on a difficult shot rather than lay the ball off for a much easier opportunity. I don't think Potter has anyone else to play up front.

This has very little to do with how you set a team up etc

Everton's Board of Directors told not to attend today's game due to a 'real and credible threat to their safety'

Fans saying the board have made it up to make the fans look like the villains. They cite the fact the police weren't mentioned in the statement as proof the threat isn't real.

How has that equaliser been allowed to stand? Whether he touched it or not Rashford was interfering with play.

Don't see what the problem is...you can see he didn't touch it

He didn't touch it, but if he's not there, Utd wouldn't have scored, so clearly interfering.
