They didn't, the loan window is open again for FL clubs until the 27th March I think. The FA term it emergency loan so as not to upset UEFA/ FIFA too much...

Chelsea sign 17 year old Chilean winger Cristian Cuevas from O'Higgins for £2M.

Heard Tim Vickery on the radio at lunch who described him as one of the best players to come out of South America for years

Reported in Portugal & Spain that Man Utd have signed Ezequiel Garay from Benfica for €20M. Real Madrid to receive half of the money as a sell on clause.

Could be a little awkward if he faces Bayern Munich in the CL final

Why are Dortmund all of sudden losing their best players? - i really thought they would build on their league win and go for European domination...

Not much they can do in this scenario where the release fee has been met - I wouldn't be surprised to see Gotze stay as he's been there for years, but it'd be a pretty bold decision to make IMO.

Guessing he wants to be part of the Pep revolution.

Dortmund will be alright, Reus is a better player anyway..

Not only will last nights performance just up the Lewandowski to Bayern rumours but now it is being said that they have had a €45M offer for Arturo Vidal turned down by Juventus

Where have Bayern got all this money from?

I am aware that Gomez & Robben are expected to leave this summer so that will balance part of it but they seem to be willing to throw very large amounts around this summer

Doesn't all the TV money in Germany go pretty much straight into the pockets of Bayern?

Yesterday, Jupp Heynckes agent Bayern have signed Lewandowski, Yes, right now, they have Lewandowski as well as Gotze. Bayern has a lot of money, they are doing what they did with Javi Martinez, If a club doesn't want to negotiate with you, what do you do? Just pay the buy-out clause, of course."

They are the 4th highest earning club in the world, on all incomes, but they actually bring in more commercial revenue than anyone else, mainly due to the massive sponsorship deals they have negotiated with Adidas and Deustche Telekom.

Haven't they always been one of the highest earning though? They have had the odd big signing in the past but the money being talked about them spending is on a different level.

Maybe we should wait to see if they are true I suppose, some of these could be mere rumour or may not happen at all

Lewandowski's buy out clause is believed to be £12M though which is quite affordable I guess

Surely it'd be Euros, not £?

£12m would be about €15 which is a nice round number, albeit a low one
