Thats a fair shout. I wondered if this was a rescheduled game from when Queen Lizzie died (Man Utd Vs Leeds this week was a reschedule) and so the telly companies were allowed to use some clause or other

Oh yeah, I had forgotten about the pointless cancelling of matches for that. Guess there's less space than usual to reschedule those.

Winston Biscuit Pickford WTF!

What was he thinking.
How did Everton beat Arsenal? They look like we might give them a game....even playing Rahman and Virginia in goal....I'd even throw Drenthe and Drinkwater in midfield. :D :D

On another note Leon Osman is embarrassing....I don't want to hear biased commentary.

QPR fans must be getting nervous. From about 17 games into the season onwards they have been pretty much the words team in the division

would only take a good weekend from the teams in 21st & 22nd and they are pulled right into the relegation fight with no form since october

17 games into the season and they were 3rd with 30 points. 3 1/2 months on and they have won just 1 game and picked up just 9 points from the 15 games since then

You can see why Michael Beale was so sought after, did an excellent job there with what appears to be a very average squad.

Neil Critchley will be filed under Paul Clement and a fair few others. A decent number 2 but god awful first team manager.

I think that's harsh personally because he did a very good job with Blackpool both in League One and then in the Championship last year where they comfortably survived.

I think it's a case where he will probably need to drop down a level and work his way back up again. I don't doubt he probably seriously regrets leaving Blackpool to go and be part of the backroom staff at Villa considering how long that lasted and what he's done now.

The QPR job just hasn't worked for him, but possibly a decent enough club challenging for promotion in League One would be suitable to see if he can get them up.

That Martinez OG....lol.
I don't remember him being such a massive w*nker when he played for us.
Villa are just a bunch of time wasters but Emery has improved them massively. The ball in pay stat they had last season was disgusting. In one game it was 48 minutes in total.

Loved that it was Jorghino as well, as the Chelsea fans had been mocking Arsenal about signing him. He has looked really good.
Cracking game.

A convincing win for Liverpool who were already 2-0 up and looking good before Pope got sent off and but for (naturally) getting a bit casual really should have had 5 or 6.
Newcastle's bubble does seem to have burst and they will do well to hang on to that top 4 spot.

A very strange Saturday otherwise with Brighton and City both dominating their games and not winning and Wolves doing the same in the first half v Bournemouth and ending up losing.
Arsenal also came close to losing when Villa hit the bar but ended up with 3 valuable points after their late flurry.
