Kane will always be remembered as the penalty bottlejob that there away our best chance of a WC final since 1966

Surprised he wasn't vilified more like he should have been, look at what happened to Beckham ffs, for a little kick!

Kane will always go down in my bad books for that

Surely people are slightly more enlightened and sophisticated about such things these days?

I think in the 80s/s90's England losing was an end-of-the-world feeling, but in this day and age there is so much football to watch that people move on fairly quickly

Geoff Shreeves post match questions are just weird and annoying. All the questions have answers in and are basically just 'do you agree with me?' questions, and they are asked in such a way that its hard to say no to.

They seem to be intentionally bizarre and pointless questions. 'so you do feel this win will give the squad confidence going into the last 10 games?' wtf? does he think its up for debate whether winning can breed confidence?

I rarely watch pre & post match football and have got into a habit of watching a lot of matches with the telly on mute (when a goal is scored I often rewind and watch again with the sound on). the only reason I want to hear any pundit talk about the game is to get some insight I didn't have, to learn something new. GS questions are about as stupid as you can get and offer nothing that the viewer didn't know already.

I get the impression players and managers are sick of him too. Imagine having that inane bloke shoving a microphone in your face after each game asking exactly the same thing for years on end....

From the rumblings in the media I think a lot of changes are afoot at Sky in terms of their football coverage. Think we could see the likes of Shreeves and Tyler removed at the end of this season. Ideally GS will be replaced with a high level ex footballer, preferably someone recently retired who knows what to ask after a game, who knows what it feels like to win or lose.

Once GS is binned I think people will fairly swiftly look back at his role in the same way we cringe a bit now when we look at Keys & Grey

99.9% of pre and post match interviews are pointless. But they keep going with them in case they get another Keegan's rant or Conte's press conference.

Macclesfield in the 5th tier putting their season ticket price up from £180 to £300

There are 7 Championship clubs offering a season ticket for the same or less. and a few PL clubs offering a ST for £420

Tyler and Shreeves going would be no loss. The other Sky post-match guy Patrick Davison is much better IMO. Do wonder who Sky will pick to take over Tyler. Have a horrible feeling they'll try and poach Darren Fletcher or Matterface. :|

Who was that fella last night commentating on West Ham vs Newcastle? I just can't warm to his voice. He sounds like Warwick Davis. It would work if Ricky Gervais co-commentated with him :?
