Yeah, I was one who thought Koeman was getting a raw deal and had little to work with, but Xavi has them singing a tune again. 10 league wins in 12, and just one league defeat since he took charge. They'll take some beating for the Europa League title.

was checking out Serie A last night. Other teams f*ck ups are edging Juventus closer to being in the title race. They have the easiest run in of the top 4 clubs too. Reckon they are probably 2-3 points too far back to win it though

also Roma are on a sensational run and won again yesterday with Chris Smalling getting the winner. They still have Inter & Napoli to play which is a shame as a continued good run would see them have an outside shot at grabbing 4th place

The leaked voice messages on Gérard Pique over the past week has been somewhat eye opening.

It turns out that the 4 match charity shield thing in Saudi that the Spanish league started was Pique's idea, he went to Rubiales (head of Spanish FA) and suggested it, then set it up, has been paid €24M by the Spanish FA for doing that, and has also set out what clubs earn from it (Real Madrid & Barca €8M each go, everyone else around €1M).

More voice messages leaked which have Gérard Pique asking Rubiales to make sure the club he owns in the 3rd tier get promoted, and also messages asking to get rid of the Olympic football team manager so that he can get involved
