Ginger Ninjas That was brilliant; most I've celebrated a non-Reading football moment since John Terry's slip!

I jumped up off the coach and made quite a high pitched camp squeal type noise when Wigan scored

I think I last did that when Davide Gualtieri put San Marino 1-0 up against England after six seconds.

Serves Mancini absolutely damn right for dropping the goalkeeper that had played in every F.A. Cup match for them for the last two years and who had got them to the final. Poetic justice. Perhaps there is a God after all.

I reckon we'll be at Wembley again in 12 months time in the play-offs. Almost definitely against Leeds.

What Man City need is a 'keeper about 3 inches taller than Hart. I wonder where they'll find such a a player.

Happy with the result and thoroughly deserved it was too. However, it was yet another dreadful FA cup final, at least I didn't watch it on itv

Serves their owners right for trying to appoint someone behind his back.

On a slight side note - thought this was an excellent bit of advertising by Budweiser before the game:

Great result and well deserved. If only SJM was more like Dave Wheelan we could have experienced something like that. Very envious

Charity Sheild will feel a little odd if Wigan go down

Can't imagine Wigan would really be happy having to postpone their 2nd game of the season to play a friendly
