RG30 If Leicester win the Premier League title this will definitely go down as the worst result in the history of UK bookmaking. Few bets laid at 5000/1 at the start of the season and even at Christmas you could get 1,000/1. Just a couple of weeks ago they were 10's.

They won't win it - I feel Arsenal will destroy them this weekend, ending their momentum

Out of all the teams "up there" its Spurs i reckon are the favs - they just seem to be doing thing quietly and if they beat City at the weekend then they're laughing

People have been expecting that momentum to end all season though - and it didn't last time Arsenal smashed them, 5-2.
It might all come down to the five games that follow, highest placed is Watford in 10th.

Equally their undoing might prove to be their relatively tough last 3 games. trips to OT and Stamford Bridge sandwiching a home game with Everton.

Or they will probably beat all the "good" teams and lose to your Norwichs, Newcastles and West Broms

also going with Spurs right now. But disagree on the 'doing things quietly' but, everyone who is everyone appears to be saying Spurs will win it.

To put it into context going into the match last weekend, Man City were best priced 4/6, Leicester 5/1 and the draw 16/5. After that impressive win they went favourites for the title for the first time this season. I like everyone have been expecting this slip up to happen and they'll be overhauled at some stage but on this current form it ain't happening. The stats speak for themselves they're averaging 2.12 ppg. Over 38 games that takes them onto 80.56. The goal difference is healthy and they've only lost 2 league games all season.

I'm upgrading my dunno LOL to a "it looks like they'll do it if they get something out of Arsenal at the weekend" with a side order of "If they don't it has to go down as a choke job"

The turnaround is insane. After a mid-table start to 14-15, they lost 16 out of 23 games. Since then they have lost 3 out of 34.

Another thing impressive is the lack of injuries they get. This season's stats

Yeah now - i said to a couple of Spurs supporting mates of mine, before xmas, that i reckon they will sneak up and win the league - this was when they were 5th and people couldn't see past Arsenal or City to win it - even Utd were "in the running"

This has the snifters of Liverpool (Gerrard slip season) about it. Although the rest of the Country won't take as much satisfaction if Leicester fook up like Liverpool did. I wouldn't be surprised if City just pipped the other contenders.

I wonder how gutted those punters are who backed Leicester at the start of the season at 2000/1. If they'd shopped around, or backed them at the right time, they could've got 5000/1 apparently.

That's a big chunk of difference if they do go on and win it.

They were such good value for the lead until the sending off too. Shame

Criminal foul to give away in the 94th minute

I wonder if this might take the pressure off them again. People may well see this as a possible turning point where they lose the title, Arsenal, Spurs and City may see it as a wobble and start to focus on each other again. Leaving Leicester free to fight on with less pressure for another few games.
