Ideal My God what a shit game.
I can't believe I wasted 90+3 minutes of my life watching that shit.

What a horrible team rangers are. I can't believe a team that shit could make it to the uefa cup final.
None of their players would get in the Wigan side.
What a crap team! Awful to watch, absolutely horrible. They would struggle in league one.
Jesus Christ!

Hopefully with the amount of money from this uefa cup campaign rangers can invest in the team.
Suggesting they'd struggle in league one is laughable. Look how bad reading are and managed two seasons in the prem. You'd struggle to find any reading player to fit into that rangers team.
Its a credit to the club that they can reach the final after spending very little on their side, compared to most other teams they have played. Fiorentina, zenit , werder bremen, sporting, etc have all spent much more on their sides, especially zenit. Everyone is saying its a great achievement by zenit but they've spent shed loads on player's and are by far russia's richest club. Give rangers some of that money and then form an argument. Walter smith has got the best out of a side which cost hardly anything to assemble, contained old pro's like weir and dailly and managed to get them to a Uefa cup final after beating some big spending giants. its a great achievement.

Ideal obviously hasn't seen much of reading this season, they remind my of rangers without the defence they are that shocking to watch, they've played more long balls than derby, conceded enough goals to last 3 premiership seasons and can't hit a barn door going forward. Did you enjoy watching reading this year?

Rangers wqouldn't have made much out of that UEFA cup run Finerain, Everton only made 0.5m this season.

To say no reading players would not get into Rangers' team is a bit laughable.

Down for his holibobs.
Knacker!

Best team won.

Old Firm can't beat the 2nd tier European sides in finals in the last 2 attempts.
Did incredibly well to get there, but Zenit were a better side.
By far.

Still, the 1st goal was vital, and it was a well worked goal.

No Rangers players would get in Reading's team would be closer to the truth. Flicking between the Rangers match and the play-off semi-final put the quality of the Rangers team into context. Well done to them on getting so far, but as soon as a goal went in they were doomed.

To reach the final (and semi final) gets you a disproportionate amount more, iirc.

From uefa themselves, concerning last season.

UEFA Cup
Moving to the UEFA Cup, each club received €70,000 for each round played, from the first qualifying round to the first round proper - totaling a maximum €210,000. Part of the UEFA Champions League surplus revenue was awarded to the 80 clubs who played in the UEFA Cup first round. Each club in question received €100,000.

Group stage
Each team that played in the UEFA Cup group stage received a fixed sum of €70,000. A win in the group stage was worth €40,000, and €20,000 was earned for a draw. Teams that went through to the knockout stages received €70,000 for the Round of 32 and the same amount for the Round of 16. These sums were not paid to teams who joined the competition from the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Winners' earnings
UEFA Cup quarter-finalists received €300,000 each, while the semi-finalists received €600,000 each. Sevilla FC earned €2.5m for winning the final, and a total of €6.25m for the season, and runners-up RCD Espanyol received €1.5m (€5.31m for the season). In addition, the quarter-finalists earned a sum in accordance with the value of their national market, and depending on whether they qualified for the semi-finals.

Rangers would have got a huge pile of cash for being in the Champions League as well.

In fact they probably got more money from Europe this year than St Petersburg because they actually won some games in the Champs League as well. Or did I imagine that?

Reports emerging that the trouble started after police advised the authorities to turn off the screen as there were too many rangers fans in the fan zone, estimated 50,000 packed into a 25,000 area and they wanted to decrease the number for safety reasons. Rather than a reported " failiure" it was actually premeditated. In doing so the numpties sparked a riot and caused mayhem anyway, idiots.
Do they expect that thousands of fans are just going walk off and not be bothered about watching a once in a lifetime game?

They'd ignore you as there is no irony to police.

You've quoted a comment which is ENTIRELY relivant to the dross posted by the irishman/celtic fan. What on earth ironic about that?

Highlight of the game - the Zenit female fan at the front with the massive tits bobbing up and down.

Also David Weir sucking off one of their players.

'greed. There was three female fans at the front, wasn't there?

The camera man always zoomed in on the rough ginger one though.
