Suggesting they'd struggle in league one is laughable. Look how bad reading are and managed two seasons in the prem. You'd struggle to find any reading player to fit into that rangers team.
Its a credit to the club that they can reach the final after spending very little on their side, compared to most other teams they have played. Fiorentina, zenit , werder bremen, sporting,etc have all spent much more on their sides, especially zenit. Everyone is saying its a great achievement by zenit but they've spent shed loads on player's and are by far russia's richest club. Give rangers some of that money and then form an argument. Walter smith has got the best out of a side which cost hardly anything to assemble, contained old pro's like weir and dailly and managed to get them to a Uefa cup final after beating some big spending giants. its a great achievement.
Ideal obviously hasn't seen much of reading this season, they remind my of rangers without the defence they are that shocking to watch, they've played more long balls than derby, conceded enough goals to last 3 premiership seasons and can't hit a barn door going forward.
