Do you mean Newcastle ?
If so, aren't you confusing KD with KK ?

"I'd luv it if we beat them" wouldn't sound the same with a Scottish accent

I think he's referring to the masterful job him and Barnes did up at Celtic.

Glad I didn't dive and and accuse straight away, then.

NESV are going to have to compensate Coyle handsomely for the step-down, surely? In seriousness, I'd like to think he'd stick with the potentially great thing he's building at Bolton rather than join the mess at Anfield. He's not exactly shown his loyal side in the past, though.

Difference is, Bolton are his club hence why he moved when he got the chance - can't see him moving to Liverpool at the moment given that.

I never really got how they're 'his club'. He spent longer managing Burnley than he did playing at Burnden, and Airdrie/onians were the team he kept going back to as a player. I think the returning hero line was something conveniently inserted by the more blinkered sections of Bolton support. Great coach, but sometimes I worry he's a more fortunate Mark McGhee.

Liverpool are right on trend here - the 80s revival is happening everywhere else.

But Dalglish has denied he is out of touch with modern football, and he has promised he will do everything he can to knock Nottingham Forest off their perch at the top of the League.

Good to see that posters are still concerned about Liverpool enough to get this to 24 pages.
Also the assumption both here and in the media is nonsense that football has been reinvented since the great man was previously in management where, don't forget, he won the Premier/Div1 league with two different English clubs.
Fergie hasn't done this
Mourinho hasn't done this
Wenger hasn't done this.
Ancelotti hasn't done this
Redknapp hasn't done this
Moyes hasn't done this
Those last two who are so well thought of haven't ever got anywhere near doing it once let alone with two very different clubs.

Liverpool fans are very happy so why not let them feel happy and even if they are deluded so what is it to everybody else?

Hopefully King Kenny can get this to 30 pages

Utd's passing has been pretty sloppy so far. Liverpool are still in it

Kenny Dalglish blasted the decision to award a "joke" penalty as Liverpool lost to Man United.

Didn't he show his lack of recent experience by being dumbfounded that you couldn't dive into a tackle like Gerrard did anymore?
