Despite what you might thing I actually quite like Rodgers and his handling of the personalities at Liverpool. He has the potential to be a good manager. He's certainly better than Hodgson was at the club. However, the pro-Rodgers camp have seriously tinted glasses on and I'm merely pointing out that he's won nothing - spunking a serious amount of money in the process. Any other major club would have given him the push the back end of last season.

To cite his handling of a couple of players who've now moved on and that Liverpool have finished 2nd does not constitute a success in my book as far as top clubs go.

My comparison still stands. Coppel and McDermott still have more trophies under their belts than Rodgers has. This is a fact and dressing it up with some flowery spin doesn't change it.
