Vision It's just demonstrating that over a year he's scored more goals than anyone else in the league , which is no mean feat in itself.
Playing Devil's Advocate it could also be something of an indicator that as a team's personnel changes more during the summer it shows an abilty to still produce the goods.
Either way, like all stats you can make of it what you will.

Sanguine That's a terrific signing for Inter, really surprised no bigger clubs were in for him.
Re Bony - and the Shaqiri transfer is somewhat of an antidote to this - it's depressing seeing every player who makes a mark ending up at one of the elite clubs. I know, that's the modern game, and Bony wants to play in the Champions League. But he's also likely to get only 1/2 to 2/3 of the game time at City as he would have at Liverpool or Spurs, who were also interested.
Likewise Odegaard, the Norwegian super-kid, apparently courted by most of Europe's top teams, of course he's on his way to Real Madrid, where he likely won't get a game for 3 or 4 years.
Nature of the game, but it would be good to see talent end up at 'second tier' clubs a bit more.

But they will; they will get loaned out by their parent club to a "second tier" club.
I read this week that (and no, its NOT having a dig at them!) Chelsea have 40 players out on loan; that really cannot be healthy for the game.
