cmonurz Classic pre-big match comments, sort of thing Ferguson would do, just 'reminding' the officials not much has gone their way this season (in his view).

They always get decent ref decisions in the derby. Rodwell getting sent off, Carragher rugby tackling someone in the box, Kuyt lunging at someone (assault charge), Stevie Me demanding Hibbert gets sent off (think Clattenberg got some official reckoning for that game)

^this.

Maybe he should look at our unfortunate decisions that have actually cost us 3 points rather than bleat about Suarez who is a diving cheat.

Anybody else find it even slightly ironic that, when given a free kick by East last week, the Scousers all sarcastically cheered despite the free kick being given for what was a ridiculous dive after a bit of a tap from Gorkks?

I think we have more reason to complain about decisions not going our way after Torres, Naughton and Ba all got away with blatant offences that have probably cost us at least 3 or 4 points this season, but we choose not to.

Wonder if it'll work as well as the envelope thing he ripped off from Fergie.

And as if to highlit my point, Moyes now says he is 'concerned' about Suarez's diving. It's just gamesmanship to play in the minds of the officials.

If you're confident enough with your side as a manager then you'd probably shy away from mind games with officials.

Rodgers knows Everton have a decent side and for the first time in ages, Liverpool are the second best team on merseyside as things stand at the moment. Liverpool do seem to have a bit of a hoodo over them though.

Seems like Rodgers is doing a 'try everything you can to get anything going for you' type thing from a manager with the pressure that the job there brings.

No, you fcuking (troll) idiot.

The thread was about Rodgers comments. I said it was pre-derby gamesmanship. Highlighting my point was Moyes comments a couple of days later.

Moyes doesn't need to use gamesmanship. The refs already know Suarez is a cheat.

Alright mate, simmer down.

Moyes is right though, and has every right to be concerned about a blatant cheater. As for Rodgers he is just towing the Liverpool line, it's easier to think your just hard done by, instead of admitting your best player is a total scumbag and a cheat. Having said that having a perfectly legit last minute winner ruled out is fair shout for a bad decision.

Should have been ruled out for a foul on the header across, but was ruled out for a (wrong) offside call. So rightly disallowed, but for the wrong reason.

The signing of Sturridge has made a hell of a difference, they absolutely roasted Norwich yesterday.

"Brendan Rodgers is unacceptable" - sure I agree, but couldn't they add a bit more pizzazz?
They could have gone all out and went with something like:
Brendan Rodgers wears ladies lingerie
Brendan Rodgers stuck his big wristwatch up his arse
Brendan Rodgers bums Suarez every night
Brendan Rodgers is wanted for crimes against humanity
Brendan Rodgers loves the cock
Brendan Rodgers has a son named Royalee

To be fair you can re-jig three of those lines to form the next verse of the John Madejski song.

They roasted them with five in September too. Seem to have the sign over them this year.
